Objective

To create an information design piece that communicates using data.To design and print a large format document (24x36”) with good understanding of scale, proportion, balance, grid layout, and visual organization.To use at least three different types of data visualizations (charts, timelines, visual comparisons, illustrations, etc.)Engaging with themes that are core to SU educational mission: Inclusion, Sustainability, Technology.

Software: Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
Timeline: 4 Weeks

Process

To start this project, I went on Pinterest to find pictures of EV cars to set the mood and help me brainstorm. I made sketches of different layouts to see how I could use them. I created a style guide to help me keep things looking clean.

Finished Designs

I wanted to create something that screams electric vehicle, so I chose a vibrant green. I also added information to inform people about the dangers. Overall, this was a fun project.
